In the monochrome life cycle of a student, which mainly is a cycle
of eating, sleeping, attending lectures, and repeating, ‘College Fests’ shows a
certain degree of fluctuations in the excitement levels of students. Why wouldn’t
it? As the festive season slowly marches closer and closer with time, every
student can taste the sweet scent of hard work; hard work of not only the students
organizing it but the ones striving over their performing arts with incessant
practices.
MEDHA is Sangamner’s largest
cultural festival hosted by Amrutvahini College of Engineering's (AVCOE).
The inauguration ceremony took place on 4th January 2018 in the presence of all
the chief guests. The event was coordinated by Prof. G. B. Kale, managed
by Prof. V.B. Dhumal and executed by Mr. A.B. Shinde.
This year, Medha brought to stage some amazing performances in
Spot Poetry, Singing,Fashion Show, Instrument Playing, Skits, Yoga, GD and
Debates. The dais had been decorated with distinguished guests. Prabhakar More,
Pooja Bedi, Bhargavi Chirmule, Shyam Rajput and Achyut Godbole were the star
attractors of the event.
Cultural festivals help to preserve our varied cultural
heritage. As a whole, Cultural festivals give the opportunity to develop the
qualities of mutual respect, love, communal harmony and national integration.
We hope Medha remains a unique point in every student’s life where they can
express their thoughts and share their creativity with everyone.
